Asian University awarded Quality Standard Certification.

As a result of a two day visit by the assessment team led by Prof. Dr. Wichit Srisa-an in June, Asian U has officially met the conditions of certification by ONESQA (the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment) according to the Manual for External Quality Assessment of Higher Education and received ONESQA Quality Standard Certification at both the institutional level and at the disciplinary group (each Faculty) levels. In summary, Asian University has been certified as "Good" overall, including the Quality of the Graduates, and "excellent" in Academic Services which was the category in which we positioned ourselves.

During the visit the QA team interviewed council members, university staff, students and graduates as well as studying numerous academic documents and facilities.
The final report commends the University as an international university using English language as the medium of instruction; for having in place several agreements with overseas universities; and the appropriateness of the buildings and facilities for the present and near future.

Everyone at Asian University is delighted that they have been seen to have met the stringent requirements by an external team of experts. Of course this is not a one-off, and taking account of the recommendations made by the team, staff and students alike will continue the process of quality improvement.
